#7 texpire totals?

I'm using latest *Leafnode 1.11.2.rel* downloaded
source, compiled and installed on Knoppix 3.3 (updated
every alternate day) kernel version 2.6.10, autoconf
(GNU Autoconf) 2.59, gcc (GCC) 3.3.5 (Debian
1:3.3.5-13) and GNU Make 3.80

/etc/cron.daily/texpire:
alt.healing.reiki: 0 articles deleted (0 duplicates),
1764 kept
comp.lang.ruby: 0 articles deleted (0 duplicates), 5802
kept
comp.os.linux.networking: 52 articles deleted (0
duplicates), 696 kept
comp.os.linux.security: 0 articles deleted (0
duplicates), 1368 kept
comp.os.linux.misc: 0 articles deleted (0 duplicates),
4071 kept
comp.os.linux.hardware: 0 articles deleted (0
duplicates), 2349 kept
comp.dcom.telecom.tech: 3 articles deleted (0
duplicates), 146 kept
comp.dcom.voice-over-ip: 0 articles deleted (0
duplicates), 1749 kept
total: 57 articles deleted, 17640 kept

I'm not sure whether this a bug and, or feature, but
afraid to tell that if the totals in above mentioned
log tally?

Would you kind enough to check and correct the texpire
please?

The output is misleading. The "total:" counts stem from expiring the
message.id/NNN/ directories and can deviate from the sum of the group
counts if for instance texpire is interrupted. I will see to changing the
wording a bit for 1.11.3 so this is more clear from the output that the total
need not match the sum of the group counts.
