OK it's been a long time I have not looked into that stuff.

If you had errors with upgrade that probably means that some 
configuration files have changed enough so that diff/patch cannot handle 
it anymore. Check your /tmp directory for such files, they will have 
.old .new and .current suffixes.

Before rebooting fix those problems and save the configuration.

Check the existence of the libraries using the mount_modules script, it 
will tell you if there is a problem with the module library.
