In 2.5, Launchy crashed on my Windows 7 64bit box anytime I used a backspace to remove all characters from the search box. In 2.6b2 it still crashes, but much more quickly. I have disabled all plugins, and it still behaves the same way. Frustratingly, my Win 7 64bit at home has no problem at all.

This problem is now fixed. Today I had a different problem; Launch (both 2.5 and 2.6b2) crashed on catalog rescan. I guessed the catalog might be corrupt. I uninstalled Launchy, then deleted the entirely Launchy directory from c:\users\\AppData\Roaming. When I reinstalled I no longer had the crash on catalog rebuild, or the backspace problem. I wish I'd thought of that months ago!

Thanks for this. I didn't think of appdata folder. That did the trick for backspace.
