Most of the "small" executables that I like to use are in my c:\windows\system32 folder. I would like to be able to invoke them from Launchy like I used to do with the run menu, so I did the following:
1. I added the C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory to my "Directories to Scan" field.
2. I added ".bat" and ".exe" to my "File Types" field.
The problem is that Launchy isn't indexing any of the .exe or .bat files in that directory. For example, I can't execute regedt32.exe.
Is there something that I'm missing? I know that Launchy can index .exe files. Is it a problem since Windows treats this system directory specially?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hmmm. Quite a bit has changed between 0.96 and what I'm working on now, but I can tell you that the next version should work just fine. It should be out in only a couple of weeks.
