    Is there any way to configure Launchy to remember previously launched items and prioritise them?

    I have some shortcuts on the start menu that I use very regularly and some directories and bookmarks that I use occasionally (some more than others).  If I start Launchy and type "keil", it always finds a directory called "keil" first and I have to (e.g.) type uvision to find the shortcut to "Keil uVision".  Since I do this regularly, I'd ideally like to type "k" in launchy and it to find "Keil uVision" as it's the most regularly accessed item with a 'k' in it.  Similarly, I have a regularly accessed firefox bookmark with gviewer in the name, but I have to type "gvi" before it realises I mean that one rather than the rarely accessed stack overflow link that also happens to have "gv" in the title.

    Launchy DOES remember previously launched items, but you have to use the down arrow key to select them for it to work. So, next time you want to launch your gviewer bookmark, type "gvi", then hit the down arrow to highlight your gviewer bookmark before hitting enter. If it doesn't show up, open Launchy's options and increase the number of suggestions it shows.

    If you want to launch something after entering only a single letter, you might not want to scroll through everything. You can add them manually by editing Launchy's configuration file, Launchy.ini, which can be found in a folder in your user directory:

    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUsername>\Application Data\Launchy\Launchy.ini

    Vista/7: C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Launchy\Launchy.ini

    This history of database items that were selected as I described above is the last part of Launchy.ini ("History"). Each line contains the text that was typed, then an equals sign, the name of the file without the file extension OR the name of the bookmark, a comma and a space, and then the full path of what was launched, as in:

    iron=ironportable, F:/Apps/IronPortable/IronPortable.exe
    radar=radar - noaa se, http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/southeast_loop.php

    You could alternatively use the "Runner" plug-in to add custom commands to Launchy (either in the options or by editing the same Launchy.ini), but editing the history section of the .ini is easier.
