Here's a visual SCJP Tiger study notes for Java certification exam takers.

Some new development has been taking place, as a result the first few pages of the visual tutorial has been released, including a foreword page. This is only tested in a few browsers. If you are a CSS/javascript expert, you can help to test it in your favourite browser..

This is a tutorial work in progress. It uses the freemind tool to create slides for a Scheme introduction tutorial. Eventually all the pages will be linked to one complete document.

For all the Vivid / Ultraman fans out there.. you know it's coming right? Yes, there is an (Ultra)-Vivid effect for the good old Solarize, and it is appearing here in gimp-fxeffects-0-1-9 package for the first time in the world wide release.

Photo Lab Color Punch now enters version 4.0 with a new H channel added to the LAB H channel controls the highlight/shadow regions of the image. Now available in the pre-release 0.1.8 package.

New effect called LAB (Ultra) Vivid color saturation has been added.

Welcome to Tim Jacobs who join this project as a developer today. For a start Tim will be maintaining the Script-fu manual, which will be an authoritative version and will benefit all script-fu writers. Your contribution/review/update of the manual will be welcome.

This news is to announce the successful launch of the new project. This project aims to be the best in class collections of new special effects scripts for the Gimp. Since it is written for Gimp2, it will release requent files starting from pre-release 0.1 to version 1.0 which will then co-incide with Gimp version 2.4 release.
