I recently migrated my name / DHCP server to a more
powerful server. I found out a version of this script
was being used to track the dhcp leases from this
server. It was working great on the old server using
a early release of DHCP 3.0b. However during the
migration we started using one of the latest versions
of DHCP 3.0b1pl17 to fix some security and other
problems. During this process the script failed to
work.
The problem was found to be with the leases file
itself. This script requires the leases file to be
tab delimited, however the new version of DHCP does
not do this, it uses 2 spaces instead.
Can you think of a way to modify this script to use 2
spaces instead of tab delimited?
I've had some of my programmers look at the script and
they have tried several things, but the script still
doesn't work.
Thanks,
