Category: Problem with Italian Group: 2.0 >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: https://www.google.com/accounts () Assigned to: Paolo Bianchini (pbianchini) Summary: False positive in Italian Initial Comment: This sentence is OK. 'Al Presidente piacciono i tortellini' Language tools marks 'Al Presidente' as an error to be fixed as 'La Presidente' which is clearly wrong. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Paolo Bianchini (pbianchini) Date: 2013-03-30 11:32 Message: This isn't a false positive. The tool does not mark as an ertor but *suggests* to replace "al" with "la" because the rule "Errori comuni - ortografia -> scambio di 'la' e 'al'" is activated in the options panel. Those kind of rules have been contributed by a team of teachers for children with writing difficulties and have been found to be much useful. They do create lots of false positives, though. The user can safely disable the rule group from the user panel if doesn't want to see the suggestion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=655717&aid=3609558&group_id=110216 |
