Well, maybe I need some advice here: I'm using GCC 4.0.2 to compile lame and, while using CFLAGS=3D-Wall -W -Werror, so that compilation intentionally chokes on warnings, I see that there is use of the bcopy function, which, according to the documentation that I have, is deprecated in favour of memcopy. So, my first question: is there any strange platform out there that doesn't have memcopy, yet only has bcopy? Besides, even if it is indeed the case of using bcopy, GCC would be much more pleased if a proper include in the string.h file were done. Can I change these things or are there strong reasons to keep them the way they are currently done? I'm intending on (slowly) updating small bits and pieces of the code...
