[Lame-dev] no-gap in LAME

Hi,

Currently there is a discussion on the HydrogenAudio boards about
LAME's no-gap feature. As some already know, winLAME implements the
feature in an easy-to-use preset, too.

On the boards some believe that no-gap encoding is still buggy or
doesn't function correctly. Is this correct? Or is it working
properly? I once did some tests, and to me it seems that no-gap
encoded wave files play back without hearable noise (using an
appropriate gapless output plugin, of course).
