As member of the Debian LTS team, I'd like to fix this issue in our lame package, but I have difficulties reproducing it. Are you aware of this vulnerability ? Is a fix planned for 3.100 ?

Best Regards,
Hugo

This is already fixed in CVS, look under closed bugs.

Same as #481, can you make sure that this issue is identical to #467 ? The asan output isn't exactly identical and I since I cannot reproduce these issues, I prefer to consider them different by default.

You should consider it fixed unless you can't reproduce the issue. If you are not manually reproducing these issues please do not open up new issues in the upstream bug tracker.

This is not the way we handle issues in the Debian LTS team.

When I can't reproduce a vulnerability, I consider it undetermined as long as I can't prove it isn't affected. When trustworthy people claim to be able to reproduce the issue with the same version as me, I usually consider the package affected and try to reproduce and fix the vulnerability.

I opened these bugs because I couldn't find any sign showing that the lame dev team was aware of these cves. If you fix vulnerabilities in your cvs without any communication about it on your website/bug tracker, how do you want distros to be aware of your patch so they can update their packages ?
