#205 Can't open exe file after download

OS is Win XP. Have Real Player, MS Media Player,
Dell Jukebox and Sonic installed.

After downloading and unzipping Lame V3.96.1, I could
not open the exe file (it just blinked and holding control
made no difference). Also, under file, prefs, the export
MP3 file was grayed out. Upon checking the Library, I
was told that I must have Lame encoder which is
supposedly installed. I have downloaded Lame 3 times
with no success.

lame.exe does not come with a GUI, you have to use it from
the command line. Please refer to the install instructions
of the GUI you use if it want's to use LAME.
