-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, i am trying fresh installation of the LAM in VBox virtual machine to do some LDAP settings testing. It is my first testing of the LAM Pro version. In the Self service settings i see untranslated (default) strings in WYSIWYG editor fields. I am sure, that my (Slovak, Sk) translation has not missing translated strings (or i am sure that no these strings are missing). Please, it is something wrong on my side or these strings are not a part of the translation? Here are mentioned strings: Under the General(?) settings: 1, User name 2, Welcome to LAM self service. Please enter your user name and password. 3, LAM self service Here you can change your personal settings. Under the Page layout: 4, Personal data 5, Password Self service login page: 6, User name All other strings are translated (i don't see the self service yet, only login page). regards - -- Slavko http://slavino.sk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJPt+3mAAoJEIP5qrg5GI22kikIAK5IPlCbzPBHWjAvwldnOT8E 48EELBMG2UtavXOGL0A17PeOmB01I4Uts8nyZVlRG2sBJdsHheZl9oJR+syFHX3h B9cgx2tmCf5ro1TJ9JugZg35iacPauenEa0Vz0M1kui9fqamLT/sy5RhoxQe9OJx /NoyNWvJwz/cRc7NP3ryxsPExFEg8LctAlhL7dufyjMvTMFVjVCtKCOGCjoexA+n 34WKxuy/KKJJG3Ffms8QBgj6TKl8NJ/s6iQliROPzbT6qIC+RWEasl28jC5QP5AM Rwj6UHtY8lBzgrQEMwNF18nfvNlKR2W/hPNfghavbfDlvm885Ki/sS0slXqZiyg= =rGjO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, LAM 3.7 development is finished and I plan to release it in about two weeks. Therefore the translations should be updated. I changed lots of strings that included singular/plural mixtures (e.g. "user(s)"). Hopefully, this will make your work easier. :) As reward for your help I offer everybody who sends me a translation update the current LAM Pro release (single machine, without one year updates) for free. Please send me your files until 25th March. The po files are available on Transifex or here: http://www.ldap-account-manager.org/static/po-files/ Thanks in advance for your help. - -- Best regards Roland -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk9c720ACgkQq/ywNCsrGZ4AuACePlW9YUWQDRhFbNb3KJyJnoSC MPAAnilKgmuLPCNRuGBhovfMmfhimXKV =IEmn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, LAM is currently translated to 16 languages which is really great. :) Unfortunately, some of them are out of date or need a new translator. Please contact me if you would like to maintain one of the following translations: Chinese (Traditional) Czech Polish Russian Every translator gets a free LAM Pro license that can also be used in your company. If you would like to maintain a new language please contact me, too. Translating LAM is very simple. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, the end of 2011 is near and I would like to take this chance to say big thanks to you. I am very thankful for all your support for LAM. This is really great! This year was the one with most user contributions. Pavel spent the IMAP code and improvements to Asterisk. Jorg provided a module to manage authorized services. There were also lots of translation updates and in 2012 LAM will support Slovakian thanks to Slavko. Big thanks to Roland and Pascal who helped to enhance LAM's usability and Fabio who uploads LAM to the Debian package repository. I wish you and your families merry Christmas and a healthy and successful new year 2011! Hello Two questions concerning the translation : 1- In "A valid newsuperier attribute should be specified" I think it should be "newsuperior" ? 2 - "IP address or domain name of the registration server." == can domain name be replaced by FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) Please find enclosed the french message.po for 3.6 All contribution/remarks would be greatly appreciated from those who can check this translation and point the errors. Especially for the LAM modules I have never used, such as Asterisk , sudo, quota, Zarafa ... Merci à toute les bonnes volonté de me faire pravenir vos remarques concernant les erreures de traduction, fautes de frappes, hors contexte ... que vous pourrez rencontrer dans ce premier jet de ma traduction de LAM 3.6RC, faisant suite aux travaux de X. Hello friends, I already sent Roland my latest translation which I believe he merged in 3.6, but there are still some inconsistencies I would like to polish for version 3.7 Check the po file available here: http://lam.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/lam/lam/locale/es_ES/LC_MESSAGES/messages.po You will notice I marked some strings as fuzzy, because IMHO we should reach a consensus on some words/phrases, and test every string of the translation in lam itself so that we can be safely sure that strings are correct and fit in controls as intended in English. In English there are some concepts that can have several valid translations, like "home". There are some words that can be difficult to translate, like "overlay", "shell", or maybe "login/logon" And some words might remain untouched, like "script", or perhaps we could find a suitable equivalent in Spanish other than "guión", which is awful. Also there are words that double as nouns or verbs, like "filter" or "block", and in Spanish there is a considerable difference. What should we do about these issues? Please check the translation and contribute with your impressions in this thread. Regards, Hugo PS I intentionally wrote this message in English so that if translators from other languages have related concerns or suggestions to contribute, they can do so. ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ |

Hello, I just downloaded LAM and I am playing a little bit with it right now. It seems that the french translation is not up to date so I apply to complete it and correct some mistakes or "strangenesses" I noticed. I think I can propose a new version within a week. How am I supposed to upload the po file ? Do I attach it to the list or is there a special repository ? Kind regards. Franck Rakotonindrainy |

Hi Roland, I have been reviewing the Spanish translation as I have the time, but it has taken me much more time than antivipated because there are several inconsistent strings (plus I also had a couple of exams that took some preparation time) Anyway in a reply to Slavko-5 you mentioned version 3.6 and that makes me wonder: will the changes affect current strings, or they will only include new strings? Depending on this, I could continue or stop and wait for the new version to compare and merge there what is already done. Regards, Hugo |

Are you familiar with xgettext? I cannot help with it, only point to it, but manpage says, that PHP is supported. Hi Luděk, Dňa Sun, 30 Oct 2011 22:53:31 +0100 Ludek Finstrle <lu...@pz...> napísal: > I think you can use also Czech translation. I hope you understand > Czech as we was one country 20 years ago ;o) nice question. I was working in Bohemia (Jihlava, 1991 - 1992), when we had common country. But in this time i meet a lot of people, which said, that they do not understand Slovak :-) I have family near Pelhřimov too, where i was more times, but more than 20 years ago... The Czech language is really problem for me, while i am sometime mixing the Slovak and Czech terms together and this is bad for proper translation :-D > If you do so feel free to report me bugs in cz translation. I am loving the "Another Language" (i am not sure with this english name) GTranslator's plugin for this, while some sentences are terrible to understand for me. In this cases, the Czech and Russian languages are my helpers. Yes, i found one bug yet msgid "Logging" msgstr "Přihlašování" IMHO, the Logging term is about log messages, not logins. regards -- Slavko http://slavino.sk |
