I'm so close to having finished writing the new beta that hopefully I'll be able to post it this Sunday.

However, something's changed. The installer will present a great many challenges at first; I feel that it is second in priority to new features. Also, anybody who's installing Labrador right now ought to know enough to change a simple database configuration variables file to suit their situation.... read more

The next beta of Labrador SLMS will be released soon. Its features will include:
* Fixes to some issues in the older beta
* A function to add reviews of a book.
* A review moderation function.
* A smart installer script.
* Clever quotes on every static page.

I plan to release it very soon (within about a week or so).

During that long period of silence after the first SQL file release, I've been actively developing Labrador. I think that we're now at the point where I can release a true beta.
