  Not at all. I have noticed that it exists. But a different track on that system is taken, especially with handling of packets with some odd patches to PPPd itself. This seems, at least from a cursory look over, to isolate that implementation to only PPP packets, whereas we are, for the most part, payload-protocol independent.
  
  Plus, they only have LAC so far, I think. We've got both sides of the setup. :)
