I have decided to file this bug to clean up some
things. When kxmame detects new version of xmame, it
prompts whether to rebuild the gamelist. After clicking
Yes, no games are present under the following
categories: drivers/*, category/* and version/*. Others
seem to work OK. The problem disappears after
rebuilding the gamelist again or after restarting
kxmame. I hope that this info is clear now. Greets.

This bug seems to be walking the earth again in xmess
branch, at least for drivers/*.
