I am having trouble with Adobe Flash in Firefox 24.4.0 esr. Will the Firefox 34.0.5 package be made available soon? I have checked Aper, but the latest version of FF is not included. Thank you.

I am not sure this is a Kwheezy problem and may be only partially a Firefox problem. It does seem to be a problem affecting many versions of Linux as well as Macs and Windows machines. It also seems to be a very complicated problem.

I downloaded gnash via Synaptic and can now play some Flash files. You might try that while waiting for Adobe and Mozilla to straighten things out.

And I just found that some videos I need for a course I am taking that will not play in Firefox DO play in Iceweasel.

This is a Firefox bug I believe. The Debian repo should be patching flash plugin, so it's just a matter of Firefox honouring that flash is safe.

Best fix I can find ATM is to tell Firefox to ignore blocked plugins.

    SOLUTION:
1.) in Firefox address bar, clear and type about:config
    2.) search for extensions.blocklist.enabled
    3.) change value to false
    4.) restart Firefox
