Trying to set auto-login and passwordless login fails in the KDM Login Manager (Kwheezy 1.5). On the convenience tab, no users are listed in either the pull-down user menu for auto-login or the user window for passwordless login. Similarly, no users appear in the users and groups window of the users tab. The only system settings that have been changed are customizations via the system settings panel. This appears to be related to the Kwheezy implementation as the problem does not occur in the Debian KDE distro.

I'm sorry you're having a problem with this feature. I can with confidence say that it is not a bug and that it works. I use the auto-login myself on one of my machines. I suspect you are using the administrator account. If so, you should create and use a regular user account. It's quite common fo folk to not read the instructions on the first login to Kwheezy.

The administrator account has uid=999, that could be why it doesn't show up in the users list of auto-login feature.

Correct me if I'm wrong and I'll see if I can help further.
