#3 Problems with VBR MP3s

When playing mp3s with VBR (variable bit rate encoding) Kslimp3
doesn't play anything but drags all avaliable cpu time.

I'm using KDE 3.3 and libmad 0.15.1b (both from SuSE RPMs). The
"madplay" program that came with libmad can play all those VBR
files without problems.
