ksensors5 is a program for kde, it uses the qt 5 and kde 5 libraries (they can also be installed in kde 6).
It is a front-end for lm-sensors and hddtemp and a fork of ksensors with various improvements, changes and fixes.
Read the README.source or README.flatpak for installation from source or installation from flatpak package.
Next steps (no date defined)
- Remove the numerous timers for updating the values (one for each active sensor) and use only a single one.
- Remove the arc and needle indicators and insert line type graph indicators (to have a minimum indication of the value over time).
- Using an extended name to avoid having sensors with the same name or that have changed reference.
(There is no complete solution, and current ksensors configurations may become invalid.)
- Release of an official version.
Report bugs, test, etc., are welcome (tickets are open to anyone, an email address is available).

This is a port to incorporate the use of cmake and to go from kde/qt 3 to 4 and then to 5, and it was a very cumbersome thing. Various fixes and improvements have been included in the version for kde/qt 5 (it can also be installed in kde/qt 6). Various other changes are planned, but to include them, various parts of the code must be deeply revised, which is a long job and requires a lot of testing and fixing malicious bugs. I have never received any kind of responses from others, this doesn't work, I like this, I would like to have a certain function. And even less proposals to help with development. And so I follow my ideas and uses, and working alone I need a lot of time and effort, and although the various versions released are functional, they do not have the changes that I consider minimal for my official release. (for example some changes that I consider necessary will force you to redo the configuration, it's not a big problem, but in an official version it is unacceptable).
