I set the record window via ctrl + mouse.
However the top left setting did not record at that setting, but further up. And the bottom right setting was also recorded as further up the screen.
In other words, it is not recording the area I set it for. No adjustment I could do made it work correctly.
Also the sound is not recording at nearly enough volume.
In the last years has been hard to find time or help to fix an keep the software up to date.
There are plenty of alternatives though, both in the open source space like CamStudio or commercial like BandiCam (this was the first result, but you can find plenty with a quick DuckDuckGo search).
