I am the maintainer of the kreatecd package for debian

here are some bugs I have received for kreatecd 1.1.0
if you could comment on them that would be great ! Otherwise I hope they =
help=20
for future versions of kreateCD (kreatecd is very much appreciated btw).

kreatecd gives almost no feedback about the type of error that occured.
For example both:
 - a not connected(and therefore not responding) CD writer
and
 - a badly padded audio track
result in an "Unrecognized error while writing CD-R!!!". Both should be
easy catchable though.

Hi,

How about adding a context-menu to the right window in data-cd mode?
One could delete oder rename files there.
Viewing properties (directory size is important) would be fine, too.
At all, I'd like to specify a medium-name before burning

Kreatecd's call to mpg123 to convert .mp3 to audio tracks sometimes
results in tracks with bad padding(e.g. for corrupt mp3s). kreatecd
does not recognize this and tries to start the write process, resulting
in an unrecognized error.
kreatecd should not blindly rely on the output of the programs it calls
but check for its validity before starting the burning process.

Start KreateCD, create an audio cd then drop an mp3 from konqueror, I got=
 the=20
error message:

"In this mode you can only add audio files!"

the files I tried are "mp3 file with ID3 2.0 tag" (identified with file=20
command)
