[Kreatecd-devel] First MP3 scanner in CVS / prepare for release

Hi!

My first version of the mp3 file scanner is in CVS now. It should work with 
44,1 kHz stero mp3 files. Further checks and minor changes will have to be 
done for mono files or files with other sampling rates. 

We should now check the scanner with some mp3 whether it detects the mp3 file 
and gives a correct length of the song.

I would suggest to prepare for a "snapshot release" soon. Many people are 
trying to compile 0.4.1 with KDE 2.x but due to API changes in KDE after 
0.4.1 this won't work. How can we call this release? 0.9.0 ?

Since we are heading for 1.0 and this would be a version before 1.0, it is 
IMHO a sensible version number.

We don't need to make everything really stable for this release but we 
shouldn't touch things which will make KreateCD terribly unstable now
