Hi! As you might have read, I asked on the user mailinglist, whether it is time to drop KDE 1.x support to optimize for KDE 2.0. I got two "votes" to do it, and no "vote" to continue support for KDE 1.x. I think it is time for the change, too. KDE 2.0 has very good chances to become part of most distributions. QT 2.2 is under QPL or GPL, so even Debian probably will include KDE 2.0. At the moment I am investigating what has to be changed. Soon I'll recode all .po files to Unicode as soon as I know how to edit Unicode .po files. This is necessary to get correct "Umlauts" for KDE 2.0 If you haven't done already, try to get a recent KDE snapshot or wait for KDE 2.0 RC1. Very soon it may be necessary to compile KreateCD CVS HEAD branch. Greetings Alexander |
