[Kreatecd-user] HELP! Needing log files for blanking CD-RW

Hi!

In order to implement CD-RW blanking into KreateCD I need some logfiles of
cdrecord. (I don't have a CD-RW and don't know how it looks when the CD-RW is
successfully blanked)

If 

- you own a CD-RW and some CD-RW media
- have some experiences with shell / cdrecord
- want to help me to support CD-RW blanking in KreateCD

then please send me the outpout of cdrecord when blanking media. Stdout and
stderr should be redirected to separate files. Example:

/opt/schily/bin/cdrecord   >stdout_log 2>stderr_log  [lots of blanking options]

PLEASE USE A RECENT VERSION OF CDRECORD!


If necessary add verbose options to cdrecord. (and tell me which options you
used)

I need to have logfiles for several cases :

- successful blanking
- no CD-RW in drive
- medium in drive is a CD-R / CD-ROM
- CD-RW medium is damaged / cannot be erased
- CD-RW medium is already erased.
