[Kreatecd-devel] Is this project still alive ?

Hi!

I saw on the sourceforge webpage that there wasn't any mail traffic since
September, is this project still alive ?

I thought the CVS version should work with KDE2.0 but for me it crashes
because of changed classes in the KDE-Libraries.

Are there any newer version available than in CVS ?

If the project is still alive, I'd like to contribute to it. I know KDE2 ,
C++, QT, and a little bit about mkisofs and friends.

I'm a little bit busy with university at the moment, but it is still alive. 
Another problem is that I live 2 hours away from university - I lose 
additional 4 hours a day. I'm the only active developer at the moment, others 
only did translations or other tasks.

The current CVS works for me. Where does it crash exactly? I burned a CD-R 
yesterday - without any problems.

There are some smaller changes that will be committed today.

You're welcome to contribute. What do you want to do exactly? There is a 
tasklast at sourceforge with some of the tasks to be done

Hi!

1) Don't I get the head branch of kreatecd with the following commands ?
	cvs -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/kreatecd
login
	cvs -z3 -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/kreatecd
co kreatecd

2) a) I encountered crashes at the insertion of the help menu into the
menubar
   b) The second problem was with file dialogs

   I use an every 2 days updated CVS snapshot of KDE 2/2.1 head branch and
QT 2.2.2

3) Should I send you diffs if I change something or do I somehow get CVS
access ?
	(I have to admit, I haven't done anything with CVS yet)

Looks good. If you get anything, you'll get the HEAD branch.

A friend of mine has the same problem and he even sent me a backtrace some 
weeks ago. It crashed somewhere in QT. I don't have any problems.

I don't update so often. I almost need a day to compile the complete KDE with 
QT :(

It would be nice if you have time to read the cvs manual and "test" your CVS 
skills with a little CVS repository on your harddisk. If you know how CVS 
works, I can give you read/write access to the CVS. I would need your 
sourceforge user name to do this. 

Commiting to CVS is best for everybody. You don't need to make diffs, I don't 
have to check in manually and there is no delay.
