#92 is this really the end?

I played through the maps, had to download the source to fix the small bug related to Darniks estate, but have enjoyed playing it so far...
that said, i worked hard to level up high enough to destroy the opal dragon, collected the opal armor and now am unsure what to do. i went through the maze dungeon and through the underwater passage (which began the messages of things-go-here) then wandered around a massive enemy-less continent with one (active) town and nothing more to progress through.

is that really how it ends right now? shouldn't there be like something explainning what to do with the opal armor? something somewhere to tell me that i must wait for the programmers to create the next quest or something? its not very nice to drop the story like that. could you elaborate a little?

the maps directory (2009 version) is missing all of the .pcx images. the verison i extracted them from was the july 2007 version.
