KPlayer changes for 0.5

KPlayer has undergone major changes for the upcoming 0.5 release. There still are some rough edges here and there, but for the most part it already works. Please check it out if you can compile from CVS.

The biggest enhancement is the ability to choose many different settings for individual files, for example you can specify that a file is a playlist, assign a subtitle file to a movie, set additional command line arguments, and so on. The properties you set will be remembered the next time you play the file, even if it have been removed from the playlist.... read more

Need help testing the upcoming 0.4 release

KPlayer is rapidly approaching the 0.4 release. Although the TODO list still contains a few items, the current CVS should not contain any showstopping bugs.

If your are planning on using KPlayer 0.4, please compile the current CVS and see if it works on your system. Try to break it as hard as you can.

If you know of or find a serious bug that you think should be fixed for the 0.4 release, now is a good time to report it.
