Add option to hide progress bar ticks marks

Hi,
recently I've been promoting KPlayer a bit on #kde and in related venues, and one of the pieces of feedback I'm getting regularly is that the prominent tick marks on the progress/seek bar make the UI look busy and unclean.
I think it would be a good idea to add a preference to hide the tick marks, and default it to off.

Hi Eike:
Thanks for your efforts and for appreciating KPlayer.
I've just tried setting the Distance between slider marks option to 100, and that removed all the tick marks except the ones an the two ends of the slider. The option is in Settings/Configure KPlayer, under Controls/Volume, Contrast, etc.
Do you think this could be enough or you want to get rid of those two tick marks as well?
Thanks.

Hm, mostly I'm wondering if there's any reason to keep them - the start and end of a slider are pretty easy to hit, after all. Might be better to go all in with setTickmarks(QSlider::NoMarks), see e.g. here: http://www.eikehein.com/files/kplayer.png

OK, I will add another option to turn the marks off completely. It should be very easy too, so if you or anyone else wants to try to do it, it would be a good entry level project.

By the way can I use that screenshot on the KPlayer home page?
I know it's a hacked KPlayer, but still the screenshot is cool. :)

Sure, go ahead :). FWIW, it's Michael Lentner's Domino widget style, Sandro Giessl's Knifty window decoration and David Vignoni's Nuvola icon set. The only hack is the tickmarks mod, and I've toned down the toolbar setup a bit.
