I am confused on how to find this. My goal is to synchronize the keypass database on my corporate laptop with my personal Android phone.
I have looked at several discussions that state,
You will need to create a KeePass entry for your Google account if you do not have one already. Right-click on the entry and select the Edit/View entry. From the popup window, select the Properties tab and at the very bottom you should see a UUID.
Would someone please explain to me what exactly you are right clicking on?
Thanks,
Carrie

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
KeePass.config.xml file The edited one were you put all the new Custom lines in. Do you save as .txt or as .xml document? How do you save a document edited in notepad to xml format? does not allow save as .xml access denided. We need step by step directions. If you don't use notepad to open and edit the .XML file then what program do you use to edit the file with?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Which UUID should I use. My gmail account, drive page, google+ page, Blogger page, google signin page, APIS page. All of these 6 sites generate a different UUID. I still get the message:
Initilazation Failed: Required configuration entries were not found. Please exit KeePlass and update configuration file.
Required Configuration entries: GoogleSyncClientID, GoogleSyncClientSecret, GoogleSyncKeePassUID
Optional Configuration entries: EnableAutoSync,
GoogleSyncShowAuthenticationForm
after copy part of the sample page into the config.xml page and putting in the google plugin.. Why should this be so difficult and hard to get info on when the plugins for Dropbox and SkyDrive make it so simple to do. Just download the plugin, answer a few questions, log into your account and done. Why the complexity, and no detail line by line explanations if this plugin is to work.?

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with this plugin.
First off, Services like Dropbox and SkyDrive are businesses meant to make money. This plugin is my personal project that I have offered free to the public in hopes that others find it as useful as I have. As such, I do not have the resources to improve it on a regular basis.
I also did not improve the documentation as someone else was kind enough to put step by step instructions, the link to which can be found on the Support page.
You are getting that error because KeePass cannot find the required entries in the config file.
1. Did you close/exit KeePass before modifying the config file?
2. Are you using the installed version of KeePass or Portable? If installed, there are other threads on this forum to help you in addition to the Improved documentation. If you are using Portable, then the config file (KeePass.config.xml) is in the same folder as KeePass.exe.
3. If you have multiple KeePass entries for different Google products, please use the UUID of the KeePass entry that you use to log in to the Google Drive.

Hi Carrie,
An Entry is a KeePass password entry that has your user and password information you are trying to save in KeePass application.
This plugin requires one such KeePass Entry that has your Google account information (username, password, etc.).
If you already have this entry in KeePass, right click on it, select Edit/View entry, and follow the rest of the steps to get the UUID.
If you do not have this entry added in KeePass, you will need to first create it in order to get the UUID of that entry.
Hope that helps. Please check out the improved manual with step by step details as well. You can find the link in the Support page
