i am using Kee Pass 2.20.1 with the Google Sync Plugin 1.5.1 (from KeePass Plugin-Menu stated as 1.1.0.0)
Plugin configuration is done, but when trying to sync or upload, Google asks to grant access, after that the process brakes with this message:
The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required.
The Proxy is configured properly (i can check for updates, so internet access should be possible)
May be the Plugin doesn't recognize the proxy settings?
Thanks in advance.

For me too it's impossible to acces the Google drive: I get the message
"Authorization failed: HTTP staus ProxyAuthenticationRequired Proxy Authentication Required"
I try through my work server - Proxy is enabled in Keepas (I can check for updates, also on the plugins);
I received the form to Accept the link to my Google account, but the message comes when I click on Accept.
I know this topic is more than a year old, and I really tried to google first!
Is there a solution?
Thank you,
Mark

The Plugin has not been tested with (forced) proxy servers.
So far I can only guess:
Try to use the Internet Explorer and browse to any webpage (not intranet) before using the Plugin.
If that does not work, try to do the initial authorization (very first sync) with a connection / machine that doesn't require a proxy. Then copy that (authenticated) database to the machine where you need the proxy and try again. At least the authorization popup should not appear then. Maybe that solves the problem if only the authorization process is the problem.
If that does not work, you may want to try and edit the KeePass.exe.config file inside your KeePass installation directory and add the following:
Can you provide a little more detail. Do you get the same 407 error message as the OP? Are you able to reach https google . com with the IE? Does it make any difference when the plugin / database is already authorized with a different computer?

Hi first of all thanks for the great plugin.
I need proxy access as well and I am willing and able to support you doing it.
1.
adding
<system.net>
<defaultProxy useDefaultCredentials="true"/>
</system.net>
dosen't changes anything
2.
https google com i reachable without prompting for user and/or password
3.
doesn't matter if database is authorized with different computer
Any further hints?
Cheers,
Thorsten

Do you have any more specifics about your Proxy Setup? Is it configured to analyze https traffic or is https passed through? Do you have a firewall that needs clients to install a CA certificate? Does the Proxy need authentication? What does the System Proxy Configuration look like?

Neither of these solutions have helped. What should I do then?
