Hello,
new to KeePass plugins, trying to follow the instructions and did the following steps
Step1. Log into https://code.google.com/apis/console to generate a Client Id and Client Secret, for INSTALLED Application !!
Step2. TURN ON DRIVE API SERVICE ....
Step3. Edit the KeePass.config.xml with the values from Step1.
While trying to connect through the plugin from
Tools/GoogleSyncPlugin/Upload I got the following error
======================
Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
======================
I'm using the portable ver 2.20.1 of KeePass, in a WinXP-sp3 pc with .net2+sp2 installed
Is there anything else I could try to search ?
Thank you very much for your time
Regards
Panagiotis

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Took a second to figure out api access in settings (Step2). Must be added to manual.
Installed on 3 OS so far - WinXP Home, Win7Ultimate - no issues, works great. Today installed on WinXP Pro SP3 - got same err. Checked all frameworks because err looks like framework err and version 2 of KP on framework. No dime there - all frameworks installed on machine with err. Its a full install (not portable) 2.20 on all OS. Redistributed plugin and XML file in same manner, so it must be in OS.
Also regards here. Good plugin - must be in mainline of KP in future.

Had the exact same problem on XP SP3. Saw in another post that .NET 3.5 or above was required, which I had. Tried repairing both .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.0 Client, still threw the same error. Tried installing .NET 4.0 Extended (Client is a stripped down version), and the plugin now works perfectly.

Ok its working now. NET framework 4 was probably corrupt or something. Hope on NIX'es it will be simpler :) Reinstall/Repair NET 4

Still the same issue as described in #1

Any idea how to resolve this?
Thank you in advance for support

resolved by
installing the FULL .net 4, not just the client
Thank you everyone for posting your solutions - your input is much appreciated.
Would be usefull to imbed this

in the requirements for the software - Thank you, Roland
Done.
Thank you
I got the same error.
Instead of .Net 4, I installed .Net 4.5 and it works fine
