I have been using Konvi just for couple of days, and I am impressed with it... Looks cool, and functionality is "just right"... Well... I was challenged by eisfuchs on the IRC, which gave me ideas for creating a scripting engine for konvi... It's still in the early stage of development, but it looks kinda promising. Already the %pop% commands are nicely translated (those are mouse popups), but it is widely known, that I am not that good script engine creator, so I would need help with it... Mostly I lack a QRegExp knowledge, that is unavoidable necessary in this kind of things... The current engine is avaliable at http://storm.homeunix.org/projects/scripter/scripter.tar.bz2 It is divided in 3 parts: - interface (Events to be related with commands) - engine (figures, no?) - simple test interface, that _should_ simulate the real konvi interface. As this is just a beginning, I would like to say, this is not installable engine yet... As it runs on the non-installable scripts, the current scripts are stored in scripts, so you should be running ./scripter in the src/ directory... Ideas? Patches? Thoughts? Patches? bug reports? Ummm... Patches? Would want to hear thoughts on this. Regards. ~W. -- Unix is very simple, but it takes a genius to understand the simplicity.
