The KontrollerLab team is pleased with announcing the new 0.7.0 version
of our KDE based microcontroller IDE. Besides some bug fixes, there are
new features implemented, such as a LCD wizard, a wizard for painting
user-defined characters on LCDs, and a seven segments display wizard.
Additionally, there are binary packages for (K)Ubuntu and Fedora Core 5
and 6 available for download
A Ubuntu (egdy) package has been released.
Please try it out and report if there are any problems.
The binary is a snapshot version from the HEAD branch but should be stable.
The KontrollerLab now offers a wizard for seven segment displays. Besides, tabbed documents are implemented, some internal things were coded smarter and all known current bugs were fixed.
Additionally, we now also offer RPMs for Fedora Core 6.
We proudly announce the first release (V0.5) of the KontrollerLab. We hope that the IDE, consisting of the embedded syntax highlighting Kate text editor, interfaces to UISP and AVRDUDE, the AVR-GCC, and features like the implemented serial terminal will be useful.
With the KontrollerLab, even beginners should be able to build their own AVR projects within minutes.
