The system is
KDE 3.5
DBus 0.50
HAL 0.5.5.1-r3
on gentoo
I have not been able to reproduce this bug on my debian
system so far.
The original message follows:
I now encounter an other problem. If I start in
filemanager mode everything
seems to work, though after starting in webbrowser mode
on opening the
burnsidebar I get this:
$ konqueror
12108: assertion failed
"!(connection)->have_connection_lock" file
"dbus-connection.c" line 1340 function
_dbus_connection_handle_watch
KCrash: Application 'konqueror' crashing...
Logged In: YES
user_id=1421010
Thomas has sent these logs of shell output when konq, burn
and dbus are compiled with verbose debugging mode (see
attached file nokrash.log = filebrowsing mode, krash_.log =
webbrowsing mode)
The difference appears at lines 3250 to 3280 in each file.
Particulary after the call to do_waiting() in dbus. I'm
still not sure what causes this though.
