I am planning to hash out a better idea of the 'world' concept and goals of the system on the koalamud mailing list starting in the next couple days.  This is likely to take some time and will overall be a large part of directing the future of KoalaMud.  Thus far the goals have been fairly simplistic: Distributed archetexture, IP6 support, scalable, stable.  I already have the distributed archetexture and IP6 support pretty much mapped out.  Scalable needs a little work from the memory usage side of things.  Stability at this point seems to be doing quite well.

Now that the base code is making very good progress, its time to start figuring out some of the other pieces more.  Which rule system to use, what type of universe should be used, how do you advance, etc.

The mailing lists are as follows:
koalamud   General discussion - This is where the above mentioned discussion will take place
koalamud-devel   developement specific discussion - iplementation, etc.
koalamud-commit  commit notifications are sent to this list

To subscribe, send a message (body and subject don't matter) to 'listname-subscribe@lists.1ststep.net'.
To send mail to the list, send it to: listname@lists.1ststep.net

I look forward to a host of ideas :)
