Can you please add SSL support a la XChat? this
seems like a good "hassle-free" IRC client, and this kind
of "under-the-hood" features could really make it take off.

I would use it if it had SSL support to connect to
servers, since I connect regularly to an SSL enabled
server.

SSL Support will be added, after I developed multi-server functionality.
I hope this will be ready for the next release
