When I create a rule and try to set it match an outgoing interface name, the interface name is kept, but the rule is converted to an incoming interface match. This causes the following error when I try to apply the firewall.

Create Rules for Chain: OUTPUT
iptables v1.3.8:
Can't use -i with OUTPUT
Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
Setting up Rule: videoOUT FAILED! Clearing Rules!

The attached file demonstrates this behaviour. You'll have to go and try to change the rule to an outgoing interface to see what I'm seeing though.
