Go to Applications/Add Remove Software 2. Click on the search tab and search for SCIM 3. Ensure the following are installed scim-bridge-gtk scim-bridge-qt scim-gtk scim-bridge-qt4 scim-libs scim-bridge scim 4. Once these packages are install go to System/Preferences/Personal/Input Method Make sure that "Enable input method" feature is checked and that SCIM is selected I am not sure but you may need to log off and back on again before you can do this. 5. Install kmfl rpms. I have just uploaded RPMs for kmfl to the sourceforge site. You can download them from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=130915 The file you want is kmfl-0.9.6-fc8.tar.gz <http://downloads.sourceforge.net/kmfl/kmfl-0.9.6-fc8.tar.gz?modtime=1203960629&big_mirror=0>. The is a compressed archive which contains three RPMs. Let me know of you need help on how to install them. Once kmfl is installed, you will need to log off and back on again. You can then install kmfl keyboards from scim-setup. Right click on the SCIM icon in the tool tray and select SCIM setup. Expand the IMengine tree in the left pane and select KMFL. You can then manage keyboards by the buttons in the right pane. Let me know if you need more details. Doug. |
