I almost forgot this feature of MSN6, but indeed, MSN6 shows a preview of the picture you want to transfer. I still need to fix the last 'design problem' causing simultaneous p2p transfers to merge. However, maybe someone likes to do some research on the picture preview in the meantime, I'm also very curious what app-ID the p2p message uses. BTW, it might also be possible that your friend is behind a NAT router. MSN6 either tries to use UPnP to open/forward ports, or initiates a file transfer over p2p if a direct connection cannot be made.
