#893 Remove useless blocks for Wikivoyage

There are a lot of useless blocks of data in Wikivoyage ZIM files. They waste space and require to scroll which is not convenient, especially on mobile devices.

See the attached screenshots.

1. Remove paragraphs which are empty. They make sense for online version, where they encourage you to click "Edit" and add missing information to an article. But they are useless for offline version.
2. For Russian Wikivoyage - an "Open Map" with horizontal line is displayed. We have no map in Kiwix, so this element could be safely skipped.
3. Disputable item - page footer:
4. Status of the page. I don't think it is useful for offline version. At least the text should be changed.
5. Version (which actually is not correct) could be removed.
6. Footer could be removed too - it does not give any useful information for offline usage.

1) We removed useless link to map (useless-2.png) and status box (useless-3) at Russian Wikivoyage. Could you please run ZIM creation for it?

First of all, please next time, open one ticket per issue. This might appear like a lot of small tickets, but this make the whole thing easier to manage. Don't be afraid to open a lot of different tickets.

2 - This should be handled on wikivoyage, this link is a non-sense for offline (ZIM or printed), so you should put the CSS class "noprint" IMO

3 - Same than (2)

4 - No sure to understand right, but answer is probably the same than (2)

5 - Yes, I think the problem is only with the welcome page. I have open a dedicated ticket here: https://sourceforge.net/p/kiwix/feature-requests/903/

This is again a pretty big patch. I don't have a lot of time currently to look in detail to the work you have proposed to merge the last weeks and at the same time I feel pretty confident in your work and think it's really valuable.

Considering the following conditions, would you be interested to work directly on git master head?

• Keep the script agnostic (this a solution for all Mediawikis, not only Wikivoyage)
• Discuss with me on IRC, the new features before implementation

No hurry, take a look when you have time to. That is not an urgent problem anyway.

The patch should be applicable for all Mediawikis. I think I'm not too much interested to work on git master head right now. Unfortunately I don't have much time to review all recent changes in Kiwix to be up-to date with the code, bugs, features, and how I could influence them with my patches. It would be much better if someone experienced reviews the patches before commit.
