On my machine kionjb-0.2.4 more or less silently does
I'm using the following configuration:
Operating System: Linux
uname -a: Linux riedquat 2.4.20-64GB-SMP #1 SMP Fri
Jan 14 15:08:48 UTC 2005 i686 unknown unknown
Distribution Vendor / Version: SuSE 8.2 Professional
User: root (somehow my libnjb doesn't work for normal
users - permission problems)
D.A.P.: Original 6GB Version (Creative Jukebox 1.0.0)
D.A.P. Firmware: 2.96.0 for NOMAD Jukebox (1)
When typing njb:/ in the address bar of konqueror,
the completion works (the folders like "Artists"
appear), and the configuration of konqueror also
shows that at least theoretically my installation was
successful and the njb:/ protocol / njb kioslave is
available. The favicon shown in the address bar of
konqueror is a small dap jukebox. So that looks okay.
But when trying to access something like njb:/all/
first time: White screen.
second time: "Der Prozess für das Protokoll njb wurde
unerwartet beendet." which probably translates into
"the process of protocol njb died unexpectedly".
third time: spinning wheel, nothing happens.
forth time: like first time.
I've tried the following folders:
albums, all, artists, data, playlists: Show behaviour
I've also tried copying .mp3-files from my hard disk
to the jukebox. The status window for copying stays
at 0% while displaying "Connecting to Nomad
JukeBox..." and won't go away until I cancel it.
