Hi, Can you post you tex-doc (if it is not to big). Master documents is something that includes other documents when compiling. The other documents don't need to have the header section, which is why Kile asks you if you are using this with a master file. /Martijn P.S. I just created a new document with the wizard, type 123 after / begin{document} and it compiled just fine.
