Well, AFAIK i18n groups do usually translate extragear stuff. At least 
mine does... Still these are in the statistics, so I guess most groups 
will translate them (if they have resources to do that).

Gentoo, I ran an "emerge kdesdk" to install the package. I wasn't aware 
it changed names with the distro...

It's basically the same thing (a .pot file from cvs, in 
docs/kdeextragear-2/kile.po), only the docs have a lot more text in 
them, and are therefore painstackingly slower to translate...

Well, I guess the anti-spam principle holds. You can use the old trick 
of writing AT and DOT, or writing the characters with HTML codes as 
&#xxx; for charachters as @ and the dot. Web spiders do not manage to 
tell the difference, and are unable to collect such adresses. I have 
personally checked that for months: my e-mail address in clean HTML, and 
no single spam to my account. Sweeet... (see the actual code at
