I use Kile 2.1.3 with Ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop. I put kile in one workspace( called it A) and pdf output(okular) in another workspace(called it B). I enable syntex option, so that when I "shift+ mouse" on the pdf file( on workspace B), my laptop jump back to the correct position on the kile program on workspace A. I am quite happy with that. I introduced Kile to my friend, who already uses Ubuntu. I also suggested him to put Kile and pdf output in different workspaces. However, when he used the synctex(inverse search), strange thing happened. Pressing "shift + mouse", his computer stayed in workspace B. However, when he switched back to workspace A manually, kile did point to the correct position. What should I do to make synctex automatically jump back to the kile workspace? |
