can you comile kile with debugging enabled?
The cmake option should be
-DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debugfull -DNDEBUG

and then send the output from a terminal session to the list.

the codecompletion does not work in the KDE4 version of kile.
It has to be rewritten and this is not finished. Maybe we should show a nag 
message in the logview, this question comes up every week or so ;)
