I think the patch is only going to work correctly if the translators are 
consistent whilst translating the names of the menus in "kileui.rc" and the 
new i18n calls.

Anyway, I'd say that enabling or disabling menus is better left to Qt itself. 
So, I'd vote for simply removing this method in Kile (unless there exists a 
way to do it sanely in Qt 4).
