I think there is an issue in the RHL 9 rpm, as all of the deps are taken care of, however, i continue to get a failed dependancy:
desktop-file-utils >= %{desktop_files_utils_version} ...

also, in the spec file, it appears that a value is set to activate the if loop, but no value is given for the desktop-files-utils rpm. I am not sure what to do with this.
