Clicked URL generates spurious warning every time

Whenever a URL is clicked in the text window, a web browser is launched. But also, this text is inserted into the window as well:
Perl Warning: GLib-LOG **: posix_spawn avoided (automatic reaping requested) (fd close requested) .
This is on Linux Mint 21. I suppose it's possible this is an integration error, but I'm not sure how to tell.
I had the 'channels' plugin enabled, but no particular configuration set up for it.
After disabling the 'channels' plugin, I no longer see this message printed on clicking a URL.
