Hello, I have downloaded your version. I also installed it. However, I could not successfully run this version. An error happened: "VCRuntime14.1.dll cannot be found". Anyway, thanks for continuing to develop the language. Good job!!! Please make the programming language more versatile to attract more students to learn it and more people to use it.
You should design a cool logo to represent your version. Yeah! There are many students learning the language in schools. If you have a nice forum, it will very easy to bulid up a big forum community.

the installer when building from source, comes with vc_redist.x64.exe.
vc_redist howvwer seems packaged separately in the assets. I always got mine bundeled in the installer .zip which does not seem to be there....

I downloaded the file "vc_redist.x64.exe" from your Github page and installed it. Now your version of Basic256 can be run without any problem So good! So excellent! You are really hardworking.. Well done!!! I will try to run more old examples later....
In my opinon, since many pupils and teachers llke to upload simple tutorials to Youtube, your version will easily have a lot of fans or followers if you try to introduce or promote your version on Youtube(also Itch). No doubt! Good luck to you!!!

For docs, this now runs on Docusaurus, has a Modules entry and pages for missing SOUNDxxx and IMAGExxx statements. Some See Also link corrections (eg See Also with If/then points to an older version of the If/then statement)
I have alrady a Beta2 cooking with corrected ref() & SoundEnvelope statements, better examples and updates to the README.md
Now to try for a replacement homepage for my v2.1 (basic256.org is wasted space at this moment.)
Should I edit the Basic256 Wkipedia page with my addition as well?
